He utilizes powerpoints, videos, one-on-one problem solving techniques, and prepares each individual that graduates to take the Certified Health Physicist exam and pass. Through his mentorship with graduate students there have been various diagnostic physicists, therapeutic physicists, and health physicists graduate, obtain board certification, and work in prominent academic cancer centers across the United States.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Charlton serves as a consultant in the Kate Marmion School of Public Health mentoring students obtaining their Masters in Public Health and some obtaining their DrPH or PHD in Public Health. His role model and mentorship in the field of Public Health has helped numerous safety professionals obtain Director roles at various academic, research, and clinical campuses as the Head of Environmental Health &amp; Safety. Dr. Charlton continues to motivate learners and colleagues related to teaching through his TownHalls and presentations on topics such as H1N1, COVID-19, and other pandemics throughout his career.
