High Throughput \/ Content Screening Facility<\/a><\/h2>\n

The HTS Facility is a state-of-the-art technological hub that performs HTS of chemical and natural product libraries, including new fragment-based libraries (associated with the NMR Core Facility) and, ultimately, miRNA libraries.<\/p>\n

Mass Spectrometry Core Laboratory<\/a><\/h2>\n

Recent advances in mass spectrometry instrumentation and data analysis have revolutionized the way proteins are identified and quantified in biomedical research. Mass Spectrometry Laboratory offers a wide spectrum of proteomics analysis including 1-D and 2-D electrophoresis, in-gel digestion, robotic gel spot excision, protein identification, sequence characterization of peptides, identification of post-translational modification sites<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>[\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/4″]\n

Structural Biology Core Laboratory<\/a><\/h2>\n

The Structural Biology Core Laboratory has state-of-the-art instrumentation and expert staff to enable detailed structural and biophysical studies of biological macromolecules in human health and disease. Our capabilities include X-ray crystallography, NMR spectroscopy and a new Cryo-EM facility for single particle analysis and structure determination in addition to resources and infrastructure to assist users with protein production and characterization.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>[\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/4″]\n

The Center for Innovative Drug Discovery<\/a><\/h2>\n

The Center for Innovative Drug Discovery (CIDD) is a joint venture between University of Texas Health San Antonio (UTHSA) and University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and co-directed by Dr. Daohong Zhou and Dr. Stanton McHardy.
