Symposium Mission Statement and Overview

The Department of Emergency Medicine at UT Health San Antonio aims to host a symposium that is an inclusive atmosphere for all emergency medicine providers and focuses on educating our medical community on the most up to date emergency medicine topics.

The symposium is focused on creating a linkage between all types of Emergency Medicine professionals across San Antonio and surrounding areas by providing CME on the most up-to-date Emergency Medicine topics.

There will be hands-on workshops that provide small instructor-to-participant ratios, allowing for maximal hands-on time. We will also be offering a place for participants to present posters and be recognized for their research.

This activity has been planned in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the UT Health San Antonio Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
