el_class=&#8221;bleed roomy&#8221;][vc_column width=&#8221;2\/3&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2>EMS and Pre-Hospital Care<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our EMS program consists of the key components of EMS, Disaster Medicine, Tactical Medicine, and Wilderness Medicine. \u00a0EMS faculty engage with local and regional first responder agencies, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.strac.org\/\">STRAC<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"http:\/\/txemtf.org\/\">Texas Emergency Medical Task Force<\/a>\u00a0and participate in disaster response efforts around the state. \u00a0Our program has field response capabilities and can support incidents remotely as well as with on-seen response including recent deployments to areas affected by Hurricane Harvey. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a class=\"button\" href=\"https:\/\/lsom.uthscsa.edu\/emergency-medicine\/patient-care\/operational-medicine\/ems-prehospital\/\">Learn more\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;933&#8243;
