Personal Statement:
Our Chief of the Division of Endocrinology and Program Director, Dr. Jan M. Bruder, is Professor of Medicine, and Program Director of the Endocrinology Diabetes and Metabolism Fellowship Training Program. She serves as Director of the Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone Disease Clinic at the UT Health San Antonio Medical Arts Research Center. This clinic provides assessment and care for people who have osteoporosis, calcium disorders, and parathyroid disorders. She also sees patients with endocrine disorders involving the pituitary gland, adrenal gland and thyroid gland at the Texas Diabetes Institute (TDI), which is part of the University Health System (UHS), and at the Audie L. Murphy Memorial Veterans Hospital Ambulatory Clinic (VA). She is a member of The Endocrine Society (TES), International Society Clinical Densitometry (ISCD), American Society Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR), American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist (AACE) and American Collage of Physician (ACP).
