This interactive grand rounds will address the complex leadership environment facing today’s health professionals. A review of the natural and man-made causes of sustained emergencies, and the basic leadership principles needed to effectively respond will be discussed. The importance of organizational and regional emergency response structure for mission success will be emphasized.
