Overview:

This talk will discuss the identification and application of important non technical skills to manage a crisis and a team.  We will explore the domains of situational awareness, perception, communication, and anticipation.  We will also show how we can develop psychological safety within a group at a moments notice.

Objectives:

  • The learner will be able to identify the components of effective teamwork.
  • The learner will be able to apply the principles of crisis resource management on short notice.
  • The learner will learn how to create psychological safety.
