Overview:<\/h3>\n

The concept of continuity of care is highly emphasized in primary care specialties such as Family Medicine. A systemic review conducted in 2018 found that continuity of care offers a protective effect on mortality rates. This presentation will take this finding further by exploring the strength of this association and the contributing causative mechanisms. Dr. Aldridge will discuss these findings and suggest how we might consider the next steps in our own clinical practice.<\/p>\n
