Overview:<\/h3>\n

Osteoarthritis of the knee is a leading cause of disability and a common diagnosis in Primary Care.\u00a0 This presentation will discuss a randomized clinical trial to determine the short-term and long-term effectiveness for relieving pain and improving physical function.\u00a0 Dr. Hernandez and Dr. Palacios will discuss the use of Physical Therapy vs Glucocorticoid Injection for osteoarthritis of the knee in a primary care setting.<\/p>\n

Objectives:<\/h3>\n

  1. \u00a0 Identify the \u00a0prevalence of osteoarthritis of the knee.<\/li>\n
  2. \u00a0 Determine clinical significance in the use of Physical Therapy and Glucocorticoid injection for osteoarthritis.<\/li>\n
