Cannabidiol Interactions with Medications, Illicit Substances, and Alcohol: A Comprehensive Review<\/strong>
\nAriana Ruiz Sanchez, MD<\/strong><\/p>\n

CBD, a nonintoxicating phytocannabinoid, is widely available and may interact with other medications. Although a number of interactions have been documented, their likelihood and impact have not yet been described. Consider asking patients about their CBD use before prescribing another psychoactive medicine, and ask whether they have experienced any unexpected adverse effects with other medications.<\/p>\n
