Tuberculosis is the number one infectious killer worldwide. This lecture will review the current state of tuberculosis in the US and regionally as well as the current guidelines for testing and treatment of patients with latent TB infection as well as TB disease.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 List the groups of people who are more likely to be exposed to or infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb).<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Describe the diagnostic tools used to identify TB.<\/p>\n
