Personal Statement:

Andrew Sharp is a Nurse Practitioner working with our inpatient Advanced Endoscopy team at University Hospital. He achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin in 2013, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing here at UTHSA in 2015 and a Master of Science in Nursing in 2019, also at UTHSA.

After accruing 5 years of clinical experience as an ICU nurse at University Hospital, he joined our Advanced Endoscopy team in August 2020.  As an integral member of the AE service, he focuses on inpatient consultation and clinical management for patients needing advanced endoscopic interventions, including those with pancreatic and biliary diseases and a variety of luminal GI disorders.
