Patrick L. Snyder, MD

Personal Statement:

Dr. Patrick Snyder is an academic clinician-educator. He earned his undergraduate degree from Rice University and then his medical degree from UT-Southwestern.  He completed training in Internal Medicine at NYU followed by Gastroenterology fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. His clinical activities include inpatient work at University Hospital and outpatient GI clinic and endoscopy at both the Medical Arts and Research Center of UT Health Physicians and the Robert B. Green Campus of University Health System.

His work focuses on esophageal disease including a variety of swallowing disorders, and he leads efforts in enhancing assessment capabilities for complex esophageal diseases and trainee education in the management of esophageal disease.
