\nDivision of Gastroenterology, Department of Medicine
\nAssistant or Associate Professor\/Clinical<\/p>\n

The Division of Gastroenterology & Nutrition in the Department of Medicine at the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio is seeking several full-time academic GI clinician\/educators at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor faculty rank, (Tenure or Non-Tenure track options). These positions enhance our missions in both patient care and teaching. Successful candidates will provide and contribute to the delivery of excellent general gastroenterology Inpatient\/Outpatient consultations and Inpatient\/Outpatient endoscopy services at our University Health System Main Hospital, Multispecialty and Research Hospital and our ambulatory surgical centers.<\/p>\n

The division comprises of talented faculty, mid-level providers and a large (13 GI fellows, 1 Advanced Endoscopy Fellow) trainees program. These positions provide the opportunity for both independent practice and the teaching of Gastroenterology Fellows in multiple clinical settings.<\/p>\n

Successful candidates have the opportunity to mentor a variety of learners in clinical research and scholarly pursuits.<\/p>\n

Successful candidates must have an MD or equivalent degree and must be board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, licensed in the state of Texas by the appointment start date.<\/p>\n
