\"\"<\/strong>Annual Welcome Picnic:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Welcome event for all fellows, faculty, staff and their families.  This informal get together is a time for the team to meet and begin getting to know one another.<\/p>\n

Annual Fellows Retreat:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Each fall, the division hosts an afternoon retreat for the fellows.  In past years, we have participated in Extreme Escape, Painting With a Twist, a scavenger hunt in the San Antonio Botanical Gardens, Lego Land, and many more.<\/p>\n

Graduation:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Every June the Division of Geriatrics, Gerontology, and Palliative Medicine hosts a Graduation Luncheon to honor the outgoing fellows for the tremendous work they put forth.  This highlight of our academic year is a celebration not just for the fellows, but for their families as well.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/4″][vc_single_image image=”685″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” css=””][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/4″][vc_single_image image=”834″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” css=””][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/4″][vc_single_image image=”684″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” css=””][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/4″][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

Holiday Pot Luck:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Every December, faculty provide an arrangement of main dishes, while staff and fellows prepare sides and desserts for the Annual Holiday Pot Luck.<\/p>\n

Wellness Activities:<\/strong><\/h4>\n
