develop a strong base in medicine through robust exposure to general medicine wards, ambulatory care, critical care, palliative care, bedside procedures, and an elective of choice.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"carat-double\" href=\"https:\/\/lsom.uthscsa.edu\/medicine\/education\/internal-medicine-residency\/curriculum\/\">Education and Curriculum<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Clinical Experience<\/h2>\n<p>Inpatient rotations cover a broad range of clinical disciplines including internal medicine wards, HIV wards, medicine consultation, night float, cardiology, critical care, emergency medicine, and neurology.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"carat-double\" href=\"https:\/\/lsom.uthscsa.edu\/medicine\/education\/internal-medicine-residency\/curriculum\/rotations\/\">Clinical Rotations<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Research Experience<\/h2>\n<p>Residents may work alongside their faculty mentors in academic and clinical research opportunities, with opportunities to present their work in
