About the Speaker(s)

Michael Levine, PhD, is a renowned American biologist, the Director of Princeton University's Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics (LSI), and a Professor of Genomics and Molecular Biology. His research focuses on understanding gene expression and regulatory networks in organisms like the fruit fly (Drosophila melanogaster) and the sea squirt (Ciona intestinalis). Dr. Levine previously held faculty positions at the University of California, Berkeley, Columbia, and UCSD, earning his PhD from Yale University.
