The purpose of this study is to assess whether the initiation of spironolactone (which has shown to be effective for patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction) plus standard care improves outcomes compared to standard care alone in patients with Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction (HFpEF or stiff heart).
