Personal Statement:

I have five months of experience in a primarily outpatient clinic-based position evaluating and providing expert recommendations for a full spectrum of adult neurosurgical problems at a large university-based academic institution working with multiple neurosurgeons. I work closely with supervising physicians in performing history and physical examinations, interpreting neurological imaging including plain films, CT and MR studies, and devising diagnostic and therapeutic treatment plans for new patient consultations and provide short and long term follow up post-surgical care. I take advantage of every opportunity, when available, to first assist in surgery to maintain my surgical skills. Attendance to weekly academic lectures including grand rounds and conferences.
