Among the six selected projects, each receiving $250,000, is one led by Naomi Sayre, PhD, assistant professor in the Department of Neurosurgery.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Sayre is investigating how the protein LRP1 influences memory loss in Alzheimer\u2019s disease.
