The Department of Neurosurgery is pleased to share the news that a research article examining the efficacy of Dr. Ali Seifi\u2019s HiccAway invention<\/a> <\/strong>was recently published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA).<\/p>\n

Within their study, HiccAway stopped hiccups in nearly 92% of participant cases and was rated favorably when compared with home remedies across all demographic characteristics, hiccup frequencies, and hiccup durations. Since its publication in JAMA, the article has been the subject of reporting among more than 60 different news outlets.<\/p>\n
