Mesfin, MD, PhD, has officially signed with us to join our faculty.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Mesfin received his medical degree and doctoral degree in drug design and discovery from Albany Medical College. He completed a fellowship in neurological oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He is currently a faculty member at the University of Missouri School of Medicine who serves as an associate professor of comprehensive spine surgery, neurological surgery, and orthopedics.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Mesfin is scheduled to join our department sometime between May and June 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Neurosurgery is excited to announce that Fassil B.
