Last Friday, the Department of Neurosurgery hosted Laurence Rhines, MD, as a visiting professor and neuroscience grand rounds speaker.<\/p>\n

Dr. Rhines met with our faculty and residents and gave his grand rounds presentation about the evaluation and management of primary spinal column tumors.<\/p>\n

Department Chair John Floyd, MD, presented Dr. Rhines with a gift to express our gratitude for his visit: A set of spurs with a custom leather strap that says \u201cUT Health San Antonio.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dr. Rhines and team members from our department also celebrated Dr. Floyd\u2019s birthday that afternoon with cupcakes!<\/p>\n
