Mascitelli, Al Saiegh, Birnbaum, and Morton, Dr. Gaub\u2019s clinical and research interests focus on problems in modern day cerebrovascular neurosurgery. With rapid technologic advancements and the emergence of AI-driven big data, clinical equipoise for numerous cerebrovascular neurosurgical problems has become common place. Dr. Gaub seeks to understand ways to better serve patients with cerebrovascular pathologies through high-level, collaborate research. \r\n\r\nDr. Gaub\u2019s love of the brain and its blood supply started early on while taking entry level anatomy courses in college, and he continues to enjoy learning more about complex functional neuroangiography. He can frequently be found reading the latest neurosurgical publications and neuroangio.org articles, doing peer-review for vascular neurosurgery journals, and interacting with other colleagues on Twitter\/X (@MichaelGaub). \r\nDr. Gaub plans to pursue additional fellowship training in endovascular neurosurgery after completion of neurosurgery residency.
