If there are any questions regarding this in the application process, inquiries should be made directly to the Texas Medical Board. The Department participates in the National Resident Matching Program and the ResidencyCAS Centralized Application Service. Only applications submitted through the ResidencyCAS Centralized Application Service will be considered (Program name: U Texas HSC \u2013 San Antonio \u2013 Obstetrics and Gynecology, NRMP ID: 1722220C0). Candidates are selected on the basis of their application, transcript, letters of recommendation, and interviews.<br \/>\nThe following items must be received through the ResidencyCAS system (accessible at your Dean\u2019s office, or for international medical graduates through the ECFMG) by September 24th in order for your application process to be complete:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Application Form<br \/>\n\u2022 Medical Student Performance Evaluation (\u201cDean\u2019s Letter\u201d)<br \/>\n\u2022 Medical School Transcript<br \/>\n\u2022 USMLE or COMLEX Transcript and Exam History<br \/>\n\u2022 OB\/GYN Department Chair\u2019s Letter of Reference (we will accept SLOE in lieu of letter)<br \/>\n\u2022 Two Other Reference Letters (we will accept SLOE in lieu of letter)<br \/>\n\u2022 Personal Statement<br \/>\n\u2022 Photograph<br \/>\n\u2022 Valid ECFMG certification for international medical graduates<\/p>\n<p>Applicants who are judged to be competitive after review of their credentials are invited for interview. Interviews are held virtually where applicants will have a chance to meet residents, fellows, faculty, and other departmental staff.
