Date Set for 15th Annual International External Fixation Symposium January 3, 2022

The 15th Annual International External Fixation Symposium (IEFS) will take place in person on March 11-12, 2023 at UT Health San Antonio’s Long Medical School campus. The course director is Collin Pehde, DPM and will cover 2 engaging days of didactic, dry lab, and cadaver lab. This year will focus on the fundamentals of external ring fixation and the Ilizarov method and includes faculty who were some of Prof. Ilizarov’s trainees in Kurgan Russia.

Participants will have the opportunity to interact with faculty, build fixator constructs, and apply them on cadaveric limbs. Residents and Fellows in a Texas program can attend free of charge. UT-system faculty receive 50% of the course’s already low rate of $500. For more information or to register, go to www.exfix.org. Space is limited.
