Student externship program

The program provides one, four and six-month core rotations in podiatric medicine and surgery providing extensive teaching opportunities to more than 50 students per year.

Reconstructive Foot & Ankle Surgery Fellowship

This fellowship is a one-year experience during which the Fellow will develop a rational approach to revisional and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. The Fellow will function as a Specialist, participate in the teaching of podiatric medical students and residents, and have ample opportunity to be involved in clinical and basic research projects.

Residency training program

The training involves an extensive combination of inpatient and outpatient services with excellent surgical training in limb salvage, plastic surgery, trauma, podopediatrics, and reconstructive forefoot, rearfoot and ankle surgery.

UT Health San Antonio Diabetic Foot Fellowship / Observership

“Multidisciplinary Team Approach on the Treatment of the Diabetic Foot”

Program Description: The fellowship is a 1 to 6 week experience that will allow post graduate physicians/surgeons and physicians/surgeons-in-training from around the world to observe surgical and outpatient treatment methods in an academic health care center.
