The VAMC plays a vital role in the education of the rotating and core students as well as the residents. The outpatient clinic is well rounded providing a site for services in would care, biomechanics, evaluation and management of orthoses, medical and surgical management of common and complex podiatric foot and ankle problems. Using a multi-disciplinary team approach, those in training will experience interactive learning with the medicine, geriatric, vascular, plastics, rheumatology, prosthetics, rehabilitation medicine, hyperbaric medicine and infectious diseases teams.
