Child Sex Trafficking Town Hall

SAN ANTONIO - Our Town Hall to raise awareness on child sex trafficking and prevention kicked off Thursday night.

It's part of our latest monthly awareness campaign, "No Child Sold," in partnership with the nonprofit Ransomed Life.

The panelists included sheriff Javier Salazar, former FBI special agent Jeff Allovio, and April Molina, communications director for ransomed life.

“These presentation with ransomed life at the schools or the churches, you've got ransomed life telling the children and the minors what to look for when they see one of these guys online - who's trying to approach them - on the far end of the spectrum there's the FBI and the sheriff's office - investigating these cases - so it's good one to punch for these kids to learn and be empowered and understand how these guys operate,” said Deputy Jeff Allovio.
