Dr. Rabab Z. Jafri, MD is Attending Physician, Pediatric Endocrinology at Texas Diabetes Institute, University Medical Associates and Specialist, Pediatrics at the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Dr. Jafri completed her medical training from the Aga Khan Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan and pediatric residency from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Subsequently she joined the pediatric endocrine fellowship program at Massachusetts General Hospital where her research interest in diabetes and technological advances in glycemic control led her to join the Russell lab. Following the completion of fellowship, she joined Harvard Medical School as an instructor while continuing to work on several clinical trials that explored the utility of the bionic pancreas in cohorts other than type 1 diabetes. Following the completion of these studies she joined the pediatric endocrinology department at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center.
