Speaker:      Kelly J. Smith, MD, FAAP

Kelly J. Smith, MD, FAAP has disclosed he is on the speaker bureau for GSK.

Dr. Kelly Smith specializes in pediatric pulmonology and sleep medicine and is a co-founder of Texas Pediatric Specialties and Family Sleep Center in San Antonio and New Braunfels.  He is board-certified in four areas of medical practice to include pediatric pulmonology, sleep medicine, general pediatrics, and internal medicine.  In addition to practicing medicine and managing a multidisciplinary private practice, Dr. Smith is a Clinical Assistant Professor with Baylor College of Medicine at the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio and is an active research investigator with Roadrunner Research.

Dr. Smith received his MD from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Subsequently, he was a resident and chief resident in combined medicine pediatric residency program at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center, Lexington, KY. Subsequently, he completed his fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at the Texas Children's Hospital / Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX.
