From lectures, simulations, and jeopardy-style games on common general pediatrics board topics to seminars in wellness, quality, and leadership, residents interact with faculty in dedicated, protected learning time each week.\u00a0 Utilization of a spiral curriculum helps residents revisit the same concepts at different depths throughout their training, fostering their leadership and teaching Sessions<\/h2>\n<p>We host several workshops and learning sessions throughout residency focused on the unique needs at each level of training. These sessions help residents learn skills in interdisciplinary teamwork and leadership as well as support them as they prepare for future jobs and fellowships.<\/p>\n<h5>Intern Orientation and Boot Camp<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Intensive preparation for residency with an emphasis on acquiring fundamental communication and critical thinking skills<\/li>\n<li>Interns will spend time becoming familiar with common practices and workflows to set them up for success from the beginning<\/li>\n<li>PALS and NRP certifications<\/li>\n<li>EMR (Epic) training<\/li>\n<li>Meet new colleagues and ancillary staff through the annual Ancillary Fair!
