Comprehensive Resident Evaluations<\/h3>\n

Residents are evaluated through a variety of mechanisms that allow for self-reflection and self-correction as part of practice-based learning and improvement. Evaluations are conducted by supervising faculty as a part of each rotation to ensure residents achieve competency and confidence in their clinical skills. Faculty utilize the SIMPL platform to provide timely and actionable feedback to residents which is essential to growth and learning.<\/p>\n

Each resident is assigned a faculty advisor and meets with them regularly to discuss their professional development goals and progress through residency. Comprehensive resident evaluations incorporate ITE scores, performance on clinical rotations, educational commitment\/didactics attendance, and participation in scholarly activities.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_column_text]
