[vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]Through our affiliation with the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine<\/a>, we work with 3rd and 4th year medical students as well as pediatric residents.\u00a0 We strive to provide the trainees with a stimulating and well-rounded educational experience.\u00a0 \"\"During their rotation, trainees are exposed to a wide variety of pediatric pulmonary diseases and come to appreciate a multidisciplinary care team model. They are taught how to obtain a comprehensive history, the nuances of the pulmonary examination, and the interpretation of chest xrays\/CT scans and pulmonary function tests.\u00a0 They gain a better understanding of the various modalities used for airway clearance and ventilator management.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″]
