\nHyperbilirubinemia: Review of the AAP\u2019s 2022 Guideline<\/p>\n

Objectives:<\/strong>
\nTo increase awareness and education for pediatric providers<\/p>\n

Dr. Brandon Hadfield<\/strong> is a third year neonatal-perinatal fellow at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, TX. He received his MD degree from University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Lexington, KY in 2013. He completed his pediatric residency from Naval Medical Center San Diego, San Diego, CA in 2016. From 2016 till he joined the fellowship in 2020, he served as the solo Staff Pediatrician and Pediatric consultant at Naval Hospital, Rota, Spain.\u00a0 While in Spain he served as Medical Director of Newborn Nursery, and Immunization Medical Officer. He also served as the Department Head, Early Development and Intervention Services from 2016 to 2018 and also as Chief Medical Informatics Officer from 2018 to 2020 at U.S. Naval Hospital, Rota, Spain. His clinical interests include neonatal resuscitation and simulation as well as neonatal global health.<\/p>\n
