\nDrug-Endangered Children<\/p>\n

Objectives:<\/strong>
\nTo increase awareness and education for pediatric providers<\/p>\n

Dr. Dai<\/strong> has a undergraduate degree in biological engineering and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She attended medical school and completed her pediatrics residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. After, she pursued a fellowship in Child Abuse Pediatrics at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and Center for Miracles where she is in her third and final year.
\nDuring fellowship training Dr. Dai provided community education regarding child maltreatment to various audiences from pediatric residents, CPS, SAPD, San Antonio Fire Department, and CASA. She is a member of the Child Abuse and Neglect Commitee of the Texas Pediatric Society and is also a member of the Council on Child Abuse and Neglect. Her fellows research project focuses on assessing the prevalence of normal anogenital examination in children who are confirmed victims of sexual abuse via child sexual abuse materials.<\/p>\n
