Overview:<\/strong>
\nImplications of Early Hyperglycemia in Extremely Low Birthweight Neonates<\/p>\n

Objectives:<\/strong>
\nTo increase awareness and education for pediatric providers<\/p>\n

Dr. Valadie<\/strong> is a native of Memphis, TN. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Auburn University before returning to Memphis to complete medical school at the University of Tennessee. He completed his Pediatrics residency at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas before moving to our institution at the University of Texas San Antonio for fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. He will be graduating this year and is thrilled to be staying on as staff. His talk surrounds Biomedical Informatics, and during his fellowship he has completed a graduate school program and has been published in the field. He hopes to continue this work as an attending physician and continue learning through collaboration.<\/p>\n
