\nDiagnosis and Treatment of Infant Skull Deformities<\/p>\n

Objectives:<\/strong>
\nTo increase awareness and education for pediatric providers<\/p>\n

Dr. Jim Brookshier<\/strong><\/a> is a Cranial Remolding Specialist and faculty in the department of neurosurgery at the University of Texas Long School of Medicine in San Antonio. Prior to UT Health San Antonio, Mr. Brookshier was at Texas Children\u2019s Hospital in Houston where he built one of the largest cranial remolding clinics in the world and instructed on cranial deformities at Baylor College of Medicine. In 2017 he was published in the 100th year Orthotics and Prosthetics magazine for his cranial remolding treatment algorithm which is now considered a standard for treatment worldwide. In 2018 he joined the department of Neurosurgery at UT Health San Antonio where he is continuously researching, instructing, and publishing to optimize outcomes for cranial remolding treatment and has a contagious passion for his patient population.<\/p>\n
