Congratulations to Cora Petersen for winning the 2018 Chair's Award for Excellence for Research
Cora Petersen was the recipient of the 2018 Chair’s Excellence Award in Research for the Department of Pharmacology. Cora was raised in Anchorage, Alaska and received her Bachelor’s of Science from Lubbock Christian University in 2017. Cora joined Dr. Susan Mooberry’s laboratory as a Research Assistant in October of 2017 where she has co-authored two submitted manuscripts on the topic of cancer pharmacology. She is planning to attend graduate school in the fall of 2019 to pursue her Ph.D. in Neuroscience.
