Petra Jans Pederson Wins Best Poster At LSOM Research Day

Petra Jans Pederson won Top Graduate Student Poster at this year’s Virtual Research Day 2020 hosted by the Long School of Medicine.

Pederson is a 5th  year dual degree student (M.D./Ph.D.) in the South Texas Medical Scientist Training Program, and a GS3 in the IBMS program in the Pharmacology & Physiology discipline. At Virtual Research Day, she presented a poster on “Evaluating the Effects of Eribulin and Paclitaxel on Exosome Formation and Cargo in Triple Negative Breast Cancer Cells.” She is in the lab of Dr. Susan Mooberry.
