The Department of Pharmacology at UT Health San Antonio has 17 tenure-track or tenured faculty, 9 research-track faculty, 23 graduate students, and 8 postdoctoral fellows. Because of an overlapping of research interests and multiplicity of techniques, there are many collaborative studies within the Department. The faculty in the Department are well-funded from various NIH institutes and foundations, and our graduate students are competitive for individual National Research Service Award (NRSA) funding from NIH.
