Seminar – Yi Zhu, Ph.D.

My research explores how cellular senescence contributes to aging and age-related diseases, particularly in the nervous system. We investigate the mechanisms by which senescent cells influence tissue function and develop therapeutic strategies to target these cells. Using multi-omics and advanced cellular profiling, my work aims to uncover fundamental aging processes and translate these findings into interventions that promote healthspan and resilience in later life.
