Personal Statement:

Haven is a graduate student in the Neuroscience discipline of the Integrated Biomedical Sciences program. She currently works in the laboratory of Gek-Ming Sia, PhD., in the Pharmacology department. Her research investigates the role of the Classical Complement Cascade in cognitive decline and neurodegenerative disorders, including Alzheimer’s Disease. 

Hobbies:

Thrifting, reading, and cooking
