Sijia is studying the mechanisms of obesity-induced metabolic diseases. Her primary interest is understanding the endocrinal functions of adipose tissue in regulating glucose metabolism and energy homeostasis. She is also interested in investigating the mechanisms of compounds with beneficial effects on metabolism.
