Personal Statement:

I earned my Ph.D. in Neuroscience as well as a professional DVM degree. I have a research career of over 7 years. My research is focused on identifying novel therapeutic targets and developing clinical therapeutics for the treatment of incurable and age-related protein misfiling neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease (AD), prion diseases, and other neurodegenerative diseases associated with systemic inflammation, neuroinflammation, and brain-metabolic disorders related neurological disorders. Over my career, I have authored peer-reviewed articles in high-quality journals. My most significant findings as a principal author were published in numerous impactful and well-known journals.
