To supplement their<br \/>longitudinal outpatient clinics, residents learn of community mental health at the local, state,<br \/>and national level. Residents collaborate This is supported by a longitudinal QI course where<br \/>third year residents team up to create actionable quality improvement projects for their<br \/>respective clinics to better serve their patients. Residents then complete an Advanced<br \/>Psychopharmacology course on evidence-based practice guidelines for the treatment of mental<br \/>illness. Residents also complete an advanced neuroscience course to understand the complex<br \/>neuroanatomy and neurocircuitry to explain behavior and psychopathology.
