Personal Statement:

Dr. Kara Zabelny has escaped the cold winters of Rochester, NY to become a Pulmonary/Critical Care fellow at UT Health San Antonio. After completing her bachelor’s degree in Biology with Minors of American Sign Language and Women/Gender Studies at the University of Rochester, Dr. Zabelny completed her medical education at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and her residency training at UTRGV-DHR. After graduating, she worked as a night ICU Hospitalist, gaining valuable experience in critical care management. She is excited to continue learning and building upon her skills.
