The Body Imaging and Intervention fellowship program is designed to develop subspecialty expertise in all imaging methods applied to the abdomen including Ultrasound, CT and MRI. In addition, fellows are exposed to and participate in image-guided non-vascular interventions of neck, chest, abdomen, and pelvis. UT Health and UHS have a nationally recognized transplant program and level 1 trauma center and fellows will be exposed to a wide range of clinical conditions. Fellows are also trained in CT virtual colonoscopy, CT angiography and newer MR techniques such as MR fusion for prostate biopsies. Fellows are encouraged to participate in educational and scientific research projects that are presented in national radiology meetings; as well as participation in multidisciplinary GI, GU and pancreas tumor board conferences and are actively involved in resident teaching. This position also provides an additional opportunity for appointment as a clinical instructor which requires participation in after-hour ER faculty coverage if the candidate is able to acquire Texas medical license.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″]
