Radiation Oncology Residency<\/h2>\n

This is a four-year ACGME accredited residency program in Radiation Oncology in the setting of the NCI-designated UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center. Successful completion of this program satisfies training requirements for board eligibility in Radiation Oncology through the American Board of Radiology (ABR).<\/span><\/p>\n

Medical Physics Residency<\/h2>\n

This two-year CAMPEP accredited residency program in radiation oncology medical physics is sponsored by the Department of Radiation Oncology at UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center.<\/span><\/p>\n

Physics Fellowship Program<\/h2>\n

UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center is the sole practice site for the university physicians and faculty. Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology and Surgical Oncology are all housed at this location.<\/span><\/p>\n

Graduate Program<\/h2>\n

UT Health San Antonio has two CAMPEP accredited programs in Medical Physics, a Doctorate of Medical Physics (DMP) as well as a PhD in medical physics and MS in Health Physics.\u00a0\u00a0These programs are offered jointly through Radiology and Radiation Oncology.\u00a0 Graduate students engage in research work at the Mays Cancer Center toward fulfillment of their degree requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n

Certificate in Medical Dosimetry<\/h2>\n

UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center offers a one-year training certificate program in Medical Dosimetry beginning the 3rd week of August. This Program is structured to include clinical as well as didactic training in all aspects of Medical Dosimetry.<\/span><\/p>\n

Medical Dosimetry Review Course\u00a0 \u00a0Currently not being offered<\/h2>\n

This course is intended as a review of radiation therapy dosimetry for those individuals preparing for the board exam. It may also serve as a refresher course to practicing dosimetrists and junior physicists. <\/span><\/p>\n
