The following is required with the ERAS application:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A complete and official medical school transcript<\/li>\n<li>The Dean\u2019s letter (MSPE)<\/li>\n<li>Three letters of recommendation<\/li>\n<li>United States Medical Licensure Examination (USMLE) transcript (Parts I and II)<\/li>\n<li>Personal statement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interviews run from October through January. Invitations are issued on a rolling basis. Interviews are held Tuesday \u2013 Thursday. We limit the number of applicants on any given day to assure you a more personal view of our training program. Application information is reviewed by our residency application committee (PD, APDs) and invitations are extended as early as possible via email\/ERAS.<\/p>\n<p>We encourage applications from individuals who have completed their education at other centers. Selection is based on academic performance, recommendations, interviews, and past life experiences. A personal interview is required for completion of an application.<\/p>\n<p>Applications will not be accepted from individuals who are more than one year past medical school graduation unless the intervening time has been spent in an ACGME accredited residency program, in military service with the United States Armed Forces, or in medical practice in the United States.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aamc.org\/services\/eras\/\">Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS)<\/a><br \/>\nMyERAS is the website where applicants complete their MyERAS application, select programs to apply to, and assign documents to be received by programs.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nrmp.org\/\">National Resident Matching Program (NRMP)<\/a><br \/>\nThe purpose of the Main Residency Match is to provide a uniform time for both applicants and programs to make their training selections without pressure.<\/p>\n<h2>Frequently Asked Questions<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Do you have score minimums?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We do not have an absolute cutoff, however we generally look for USMLE Step 1 scores &gt;210.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What visas is your institution able to sponsor?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>J-1 visas only.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do you require ECFMG certification to apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No, you do not have to be ECFMG certified to apply, but you need to be certified by match day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do you participate in couples match?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is your preferred method of communication?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All official correspondences should be through the ERAS system.
